On Tuesday September 15, 2009, the Taste of Home Cooking School will be held at the Northwest Montana Fairgrounds. That means it’s been about a year since M won the 2008 Taste of Home Kid’s Recipe Contest for her original S’mores Cake.
We were excited to see her picture this morning with culinary specialist Danielle Edmonds on page 2 of the Daily Interlake's cooking school insert. She was 11 at the time and it was a pleasant reminder of her accomplishment. It became a real adventure and she wrote about it in the article titled "Cooking School with M".
Ms. Edmond had announced that there was a celebrity in the crowd and that was M's cue that she would be going on stage. Being in front of 500 people was a little nerve wracking for her but she handled it like a star.
