A Scene at Hungry Horse Dam, Montana

34

The town of Hungry Horse is named for two draft horses that were used for logging in the area. During the severe winter of 1900 these two horses, which were named Tex and Jerry, wandered off. Amazingly, they were found a month later starving and scraggly, yet alive.

This beautiful Montana scene was taken at the Hungry Horse, Dam.
